Our popular social groups for school-aged children work on a variety of topics and skills through fun group activities. Kids are grouped by age and ability. Groups consist of 3 to 6 kids and two BIs. Learning in a group not only helps foster friendships but also immediately helps generalize skills. Some of the topics covered in groups are:
- Friendship skills
- Social problem solving
- Emotion regulation programs such as Superflex and the Zones of Regulation
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy strategies to deal with difficult thoughts and feelings
- PEERS program
- Pretend Play
- Outdoor Adventure (we partner with Adaptive Adventures)
